Adding explorable space stations in JTLEmu
#1
Question
I know it's a long way off, but would it be possible to add more space stations that allow you to dock and walk around inside, possibly granting access to things like a station bazaar, cloning facility and Cantina with possibly some NPC quests and mission terminals?

Pretty much like the Ord Mantell in SWG live, with the Tansarii Point Station and the Station Gamma.

I have to say those were good additions to JTL.

But didn't Uli already answer that in the "Is it possible?" thread?
POB's in space aren't a problem, Space is like the ground game but with no ground.
You could dock to the station like you'd do it in JTL, but instead of choosing a starport to land, you'd enter the station itself and go about your business. (which would be another zone)

Tansarii Point Station is the kind of Station you're looking for, Cantina, cloning center etc.
Station Gamma is a "dungeon" in space, as I remember it, the interior looks like an altered version of the Geonosian Caves, it's pure PVE + quests.

Possible, you just need to find somebody to do it. It wouldn't be too hard since we have SOE's example.

Buuuut, you'd also need JTL for that. Confused
And it's a long way.

What Kay said, easy to add the space stations just need JTL. Mission Terminals and that might be weird though.

I didn't know Uli had a "Is it possible?" thread.

Over on the SWGEmu forums, worth a look as it'll probably answer a lot of your questions. Smile
