[Help] Loading Screens.
#1
Which loading screens / menu screens can you edit? Where are they located?
Are there any existing mods that just change the look of loading screens, etc?

Thanks in advance.

Look at the end of this guide and you'll see how you can add/modify loading screensSmile

Don't know of any mods available, but look at the current SWGEmu client folder, that's what they did to get the pic with the Emu logo on. That'll show you how it's done.

Thanks a lot buddy. I'm no coder, but I can design. Thought I'd get to work on some purely aesthetic mods.
As I understand it, theres an Nvidia extension for Photoshop that allows the manipulation of .DDS files... just wondering if theres one for Illustrator (which I prefer).

Hey Elliot, I've done several space loading screen modifications and can direct you to some good programs I use.

1) DXTBMP is a free software that can convert images from and back to DDS. Often time in my mods I will start by converting a DDS texture from SWG and blowing it up to a larger side then do overlay work on top of it.

2) GIMP is another free image editing software that I highly recommend. It's very much like photoshop.

Thanks. I'll check out DXTBMP. Otherwise, I have Photoshop with the nVidia Plugin... its not always successful though. I have finally cracked how to do loading screens since this post.
