From Here... What's this ILM Mod, anyway? Was it NGE specific or something?

Sometimes, I feel WAY too n00b at this whole SWG modding scene...

Cool story bro time: I actually met the creator of the ILM mod (JarekCyphus) outside of SWG on an online dating site.

It was the best mod ever for the NGE.
I hope it somehow gets here made in the emu.

Omg that signature ImperialAssassin, you really need to shrink it down, I mean REALLY.


As for the ILM mod, I'm sure we can work something out for the emulator(s), I mean the new vertex modules seem to work (to some extent) for me, so we can work from there.

Seems the light reflection works a lot better now, but a lot could be improved, so if anyone is fluent in HLSL, show yourself. Big Grin

Glad someone else asked this before I did lol. I just need the music files it has though, tbh. Had completely forgotten about Modsource... it's been too long.

ILM is BS for anything other than space. I've looked at all the files and no shader was touched. The guy kept talking about how he modified shaders, but it was a complete lie.

He posted a picture of DoF and lens flare, they were also fake. Wasted a week with Kay on it to try and figure it out.

Sorry to bump an old thread, was doing some research, are the shaders and changes BS? Just want to confirm before I go tearing into this.

If I remember right, yeah, totally.

Might need to look at it again, maybe I remember/checked it wrong, but what I saw was fairly standard/mostly .dds and ramps edited.

I'll take a look later again if I can even find the files.

The DoF and lens flare were def 100% grade BS though, I can't think of any way he'd done it in SWG back then. The DoF might have been from the generic/GTA:SA ENB from that time that I partly got working with DoF once, but it's severely broken and he didn't do anything to it.
